Takumi Sora Higiri was the third born child of Akihika and Noriko Higiri. Aki was elated to finally have a son since his first two children were girls. The Higiri family was one of strict rules and order with their father having been a previous military man before he settled down with Noriko. Noriko had been an army brat most of her own young life before she took on a career as a military nurse, which is originally how their parents met. The two older girls each paralleled on of the parents. Akira was a strong, determined child who was quite strict and an overachiever. Where-as Natsuko was a sweet, timid child who was motherly and doting. From a young age neither of the Higiri parents could figure out where their boy got his rebellious, hyperactive attitude from. He was quite the trouble-maker because of his impulsitivity. But his childhood was ended quickly.

When Takumi was only five years old his father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The family ate through their checking and savings accounts trying to pay for the medical bills. Sadly, within two years time his father's cancer ate through his pancreas and began consuming his other organs, inevitably killing him. The last conversation he had with his father he was told to take care of his mother and sisters, as the son it was his duty. And that duty was one he kept through most of his life. At the age of seven he took up both a paper route before school and kitchen duties at a family friend's resturant in Tokyo after school to help pay for his family's bills. His sisters did the same though Natsuko's anxiety soon became too much of a burden for her to work. He and Akira were left to do all of the duties of working while his mother slaved away in a shoe factory as well as working as a seamstress and a waitress to support the family.

Takumi's schedule prevented him from having a childhood. His sole focus from elementary school through his junior year of high school was to support his mother and sisters and work. He became an adult with adult duties far too young. This is why he behaves the way he does now. He didn't get to have birthday parties, or hang out with other kids outside school, or play with toys, or anything of that nature. Though this all changed when he entered his senior year of high school. At seventeen he began to seemingly revert back to this robbed childhood. He fascinated himself with music (electronic) as well as toys. He began going out to clubs on the weekends and attending raves with his few friends from high school. The boys introduced him to a world of color, one big party that didn't end till the sun came up, as well as drugs and sex. Immediately he fell in love with the raver lifestyle and began toying around with his friend's equipment. Six months after he entered the lifestyle his mother kicked him out. She wouldn't allow him to live there anymore because of his drug habits and partying lifestyle.

Takumi crashed on a friend's couch and began supplementing his income with club appearances as DJ SiN and playing techno/electronic music. The child-like personality came out in him more and more as he threw himself into the rave scene. At the age of nineteen his friend decided they would move to Seattle so he could go about becoming a rockstar. Takumi moved with him and found his calling in the Seattle club scene. He's known for his outrageous outfit and childlike, bubbly personality.

Takumi is known for his child-like personality. He's quite the innocent charmer when you first meet him. He's almost like a hyperactive preschooler locked in the mature body of a man. He's hyperactive and outgoing, vibrant and friendly. It's been said Takumi never meets a stranger, and when you meet him this is definitely true! He's a unique character though he has his good points and his bad.

Takumi has a stage presence that makes people adore him. He is extremely outgoing. He will never hesitate to make the first move in a friendship or relationship. He's also friendly, nearly to a fault, and will go out of his way to make new friends. He is very caring, too! Always up for doting on people. He's also very trusting of others and does his best to see the good side of them. He's an eternal optimist. He's also very innocent and child-like. He's definitely flirty at times, too. Though he tends to be rather open about his affection. Since he is pansexual he doesn't descriminate against someone's gender. He falls for whoever his heart falls for. He also adores cuddling and will not hesitate to hug you and hang all over you, craving human contact.

Takumi's hyperactivity sometimes comes off as annoying to those who don't like that type. It seems he's almost over-enthuasatic about situations. His innocence is also a downfall. See, he is so child-like at times that he becomes naive. And this naitivity often leads him into dangerous situations. He has been raped by guys before for trusting the wrong type. Has had his drinks spiked. Gotten himself beaten up. He trusts too easily and gets bowled over at times. He's also quite immature. In that he doesn't do well with a lot of responsbility and even borders on being 'helpless' at times. Takumi has very mild anxiety, though this seems to spike whenever he is in a violent or tense situation. He's also an addict with ecstasy and LSD. Often times, too, he has issues commiting to one person. And he has cheated on lovers in the past. His flamboyancy is also a good reason for him to be bullied by tough guys. He is also an irresponsible drunk. Also, his big heart sometimes leads to him being taken advantage of.
