Final inductees are chosen by a panel of award-winning science fiction authors, artists, editors, publishers, and film professionals, and are featured in laser-etched images on the translucent, glowing Hall of Fame display.
Science Fiction Hall of Fame members include, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ursula K. Le Guin, Mary Shelley, Isaac Asimov, Gene Roddenberry and Ridley Scott. The Science Fiction Hall of Fame is currently undergoing renovation and will reopen in 2012.
