FORREST 'DANNY JO' DANIEL JO BUCHANAN
Twenty-three. Straight. Tourist. Brother. "I killed the sheriff on purpose." Impulsive. Thrill-seeker. Boisterous. Funny. Charming. Smartass. Prankster. Seann William Scott (as Bo Duke).
Danny Jo, since he refuses to be known as Forrest, is Hunter's younger brother. The duo have been best friends and partners in crime since they were kids. Always loud and getting into trouble the cops knew them before they hit high school. Danny Jo is the louder and more boisterous of the brothers, and he is the one who often gets himself into tricky situations cause of his ever-running mouth.
Danny Jo is a sweet, southern charmer when it comes to the ladies. Often girls are swooned by his gentlemanly qualities. Though he's not really been serious about any girl he's dated. He is more of a drifter in relationships. He wanders like a " 'tact coonhound", sleeping with this girl one week and another next week.
Six years ago when the duo went on the run after an accident left Hunter blamed for the murder of a local sheriff. Unknown to anyone, including his big brother, Danny Jo shot the sheriff on purpose. The man had it out for the Buchanan Boys ever since they were in middle school. Even more so when the sheriff discovered the secret relationship between Danny Jo and his daughter Stephanie.
One evening when Danny Jo was out getting into some trouble on the sheriff's property, the sheriff came out shooting. The story goes that Danny Jo was startled and fired his own weapon, accidentally shooting the sheriff. Though, he shot the sheriff on purpose, thinking he and Stephanie could be together after that. When the sheriff's son saw a 70's Camaro peel out of the backwoods road they lived on, he blamed Hunter. Of course, Hunter was driving the car at the time, but he didn't know till the next morning what had happened. The two fled that evening and barely managed to cross state lines before the cops gave up chasing them. They left before they could even get to Stephanie.
Now for six years they've been in hiding, hoping the Kentucky State Law never finds them.
SHERIFF GUNNER ROSS CANNON

The tough, no-nonsense boy went through police academy training as soon as he turned nineteen and has become the youngest sheriff in Campbell County history. Though, he was a shoe in since he'd inherited his father's determination and strong-will. Plus his daddy was the best sheriff...well, for those who followed the law.
In the last six months Gunner got a tip that the Buchanan boys were fleeing to Washington. He immediately got into one of the unmarked cars and has gone after them, determined to bring his father's killers to justice.
