These kids from broken homes, from the streets, from abusive families. They're addicted, to everything. They have eating disorders. They have mental disorders. They're covered in scars, emotional ones.. psychical ones, from others and from themselves. They're broken. They think they're worthless, that they can't be saved and they're wrong. Mt. Horizon is here to save them. It's a safe place for these kids.. a sanctuary for these troubled teens.
This tv show based roleplay is set in the fictional town in Washington State. Mt. Horizon is a real life, 100 word count, free style app high school site. It's a boarding school neastled in the woods, with cabins as dorms, and a log cabin instead of a cafeteria. The students might think they're at a camp, except they're forced to go to class. Mt. Horizon teaches team work by setting the students into groups, and they do quests together. It teaches discipline by making the students do chores. It teaches acceptance by letting the students come to the counselors for whatever they need, with whatever problem they're having.
