This is Tessa Rose, Aspen's girlfriend of seven years. The two met as juniors in high school when Tessa Rose was a quiet, shy girl. Aspen pulled her out of her shell and his silly antics won her over. The two spent their first two dates at Aspen's concerts and then got pizza. After their second date it quickly became a sexual relationship, though they were always careful. At seventeen Aspen began using heroin for the first time and Tessa Rose (age 16), reluctantly, did too after much begging from Aspen.
At twenty both of them got clean and moved in together shortly after which Aspen proposed. The two have been engaged for three years and been saving up to have a wedding. Two weeks ago Tessa Rose took a pregnancy test after being late for two months and found out she was pregnant. Given the date of their last 'session' she put herself at three months pregnant. She told Aspen who absolutely freaked out.
He has become so stressed out at the idea of being a father that he used. He told himself it would be one time but he was quickly addicted. He's begun using once a day now, all the money he'd saved going towards his drug habit. Two days before Tessa Rose's announcement the couple loaded up and headed to Seattle, Washington (Aspen's old hometown) for the Bumbershoot concert.
