COLIN ALEXANDER MYERS

My plan for these two is Colin is gonna be one of the boys that Daelyn has befriended in his three weeks as a homeless kid in Seattle. Colin and Daelyn met three days after he arrived in town as he was attacked by a buff, bigger homeless man for 'stealing his spot' in an alleyway. Colin stuck up for Dae immediately and managed to get him out of the alley before he was beaten up.
After that Colin asked if Daelyn wanted to stay with him and a group of hippie-esque homeless kids. Most of them were very kind and sweet and opened their arms to Daelyn. All except Colin's long-time girlfriend Tamra and her little friends, actually.
Either way, Colin has become Daelyn's best friend. I am thinking they may end up together as dating or finals, but not sure 100% yet.

Max is a homeless child whom Colin and Tamra found two years ago (age four) wandering a back alley and eating out of a dumpster. The child had obviously been abandoned and she told Colin that a man came into her home and was hugging her mommy's throat and she died. What Colin could gather is the girl's mother was strangled to death. Lo and behold, two weeks later on the news there was a prostitute found murdered in a hotel room. No mention was made of a child and Max had been with them ever since.
Despite her rough upbringing Max is a determined little survivor with a bright outlook on the world. A female Daelyn if you will. Max is a caring, smart child who is very bubbly and friendly. Though she is also as rough and tumble as any of the boys.
When Daelyn came along three weeks ago she took to him like a fish to water. Spending every waking and sleeping moment with the boy and basically adopted him as a big brother slash parent. My idea is that she'll go wandering around Seattle, trying desperately to find Daelyn and remain by his side. When he turns 18 (a year) he will formally "adopt" her.

Tamra has been wary of Daelyn ever since Colin brought him "home". She sees the way Daelyn puppy eyes Colin and the hugs and kisses on the cheek the two share. In one word, she's jealous of Daelyn. She has hated him ever since, really. The two try their best to put on nice faces whenever the younger kids are awake, but often they get into verbal fights when the kids are asleep.
Tamra is boisterous and outgoing though is sneaky and passive-aggressive if you piss her off. She is a thinker and pothead. Though these don't always work out so well together. She's a doting mom to the little kids.
