KOTY ADAM HALAKUNA
Twenty-one. Tourist. Gay. Ex-boyfriend. "I will do anything to win him back." Concerned. Sarcastic. Drug addict. Famous DJ. Technology obsessed. Short fuse. Still in love with Elli. Wilmer Valderama (as Keoki from Party Monster only!)
Remember in Elli's lovely history a boy named Koty who broke Elli's heart when the two were fourteen? Yup, that's this dude. Koty was Elli's first true love and someone he's never entirely gotten over. Though, on the outside he acts as though Koty was a mere logger blogger, a hanger-on-er who only loved him because of his money. Deep down inside he knows he is still in love with Koty.
Koty has recently come into Seattle for a big music festival coming up and my plan was he and Elli run into each other somewhere and Elli recognizes him immediately. And then Mattykins would be jealous at Elli reconnecting with him.
Koty is a cocaine and special K addict who has some issues with his anger. On the outside he seems generally concerned over his friends, but his mood swings sometimes get in the way of his good intentions.
RICHARD 'ANITA PILL' TRENTON JANDWELL
Twenty-one. Local. Gay. Rival. "Secret up to you." Conceited. Haughty. Rude. Snobby. Vindictive. Shady. Addict. Carmen Carrera.
Richie and Elli met at the Barking Legs Theater when Elli was seeking employment Richie was working as one of the main club promoters when Elli blew in like a glittery hurricane. Before he knew it he was easily being outshined by the trust fund baby turned diva and has since gotten shoved to the back burner. He absolutely loathes Elli and is determined to over throw the self-proclaimed King of the Club Kids.
Richie is vain, obsessed with money and fame, and extremely snobby. He feels he is better than most people and won't hesitate to tell you just how fat you look in that skirt.
Twenty Eight. Local. Gay. Mentor. "I was a homeless child and teenager." Caring. Helpful. Sweet. Saucy. Motherly. Doting. RuPaul. TAKEN BY ZED!
Ron aka Queen Beah (as her stage name goes!) is the top-performing drag queen at Barking Legs. She is a sweet, caring woman who wants nothing more than to mentor struggling queens and make them feel like they have a place to go. Ron, unknown to anyone else, grew up a homeless child and teenager who struggled hard just to survive the mean streets of NYC before he relocated to Seattle when he was twenty-one.
Ron is Elli's mentor of sorts and one of his only real friends.
BERNADETTE -MIDDLE- -LAST-
Fourty-four. Local. Bisexual. Bosslady. "I struggle with guilt & shame every day, and I am depressed." Caring. Slighty nutty. Sweet. Gentle. Owner of Barking Legs. Jan Crouch.
Bernie is the owner of Barking Legs theater. In her younger years she was a famous televangelist on the biggest Christian TV station in the world. She was well known for her outlandish hair and makeup and her caring personality. When Bernie was twenty seven she was found having sex with a female intern in her dressing room and was immediately nixed from the network. Shameful and humiliated as tabloids posted innapropriate pictures of her with said intern it took a long time for her to be able to most past it.
Eventually she settled in Seattle and opened Barking Legs, a tribute to both her love of drag and her love of cabaret, when she was only thirty-two years old. She's been the owner ever since. But to this day she still deals with shame and guilt and it has been depressing her.
